Andrew Montlake (pictured), director at Coreco, is the intermediary market’s top Twitter influencer according to Accord Mortgages.
Montlake, known as ‘Monty’, has 4,851 followers at the time of writing and has made around 29,300 Tweets since joining the social network in February 2009.
Accord created the list to mark the launch of its own broker account on Twitter.
David Robinson, Accord’s national intermediary sales manager at Accord, said: “Many brokers are using social media, in particular Twitter, as a platform to share information with their fellow intermediaries, which is very encouraging.
“Brokers are adapting their business to reflect advancements in technology and the way they want to receive information from lenders is changing too.
“Therefore we believe it’s important to communicate with brokers via channels that best suit their needs.”
