Barclays cuts low LTV fixes

Other new rates include 3-year fixes at 1.90% to 60% LTV, 2.15% to 75% LTV and 2.09% to 80% LTV with a £999 application fee.

Barclays has cut its low loan-to-value fixed rate products – with highlights being a 60% loan-to-value 2-year fix at 1.35% and a 60% LTV 5-year fix at 2.14% for remortgage.

Other new rates include 3-year fixes at 1.90% to 60% LTV, 2.15% to 75% LTV and 2.09% to 80% LTV with a £999 application fee.

For existing Barclays customers looking to switch 5-year fixes stand at 2.09% to 60% LTV with a £999 fee and 2.59% to 70% LTV with no fee.

The lender’s 7-year fixes stand at 2.59% with a £999 fee and 2.89% with no fee to 75% LTV, while its 10-year fix costs 3.19% with no fee to 80% LTV.

Craig Calder, director of mortgages for Barclays, said: “These changes to our fixed range of mortgage products demonstrates that Barclays, as a responsible lender, is continuing to offer home buyers and movers with even more choice, all supported by robust lending criteria.”
