Buy to Let Club offers new advice events

The events will take place in Milton Keynes on 23 November and Bristol on 24 November.

The Buy to Let Club has announced new buy-to-let events in November.

The events will take place in Milton Keynes on 23 November and Bristol on 24 November.

Shows taking place in Bracknell and London this month offer a half-day of events designed to help brokers understand the issues facing landlords, including rising rental calculations, changes to landlord tax relief, and the use of limited companies.

The September events include panel discussions with a range of industry leaders, such as Bob Young, chief executive of Fleet Mortgages, Adrian Moloney, sales director of OneSavings Bank; Robert Barnard, sales director, Pepper Home Loans; Hans Geberbauer, chief executive of Paratus AMC; and Alan Cleary, managing director, Precise Mortgages.

Ying Tang, managing director at The Buy to Let Business, said: “We’re excited about returning to Bracknell and London. The positive feedback we have received to date proves that there is a real need for an event such as this. The industry has faced so many changes in the last twelve months that many brokers are looking to improve their buy to let knowledge in order to give clients the very best possible advice. We’re happy to be able to facilitate this.”

Adrian Moloney, sales director at OneSavings Bank, added: “As the buy to let market is facing unprecedented change, it is vitally important that intermediaries have access to key decision makers. The Buy to Let Event gives us, and other specialist lenders, the platform to share our insight and knowledge with brokers which will ultimately benefit their clients.”

More information and registration details for the events in November will be released soon.
