Bell takes helm at InterBay
Colin Bell has been promoted to managing director of InterBay, taking over from Andy Murray.
Bell will assume control of all the lender's UK commercial operations.
He said he had learnt 'an immeasurable amount' from Andy Murray and the new challenge was one he certainly relished.
“I have great support from my UK senior management team and from our parent company, extremely important to us during times of challenge in the finance markets.
"My initial objectives are to build upon our partnerships with packagers and to widen our product offering into new market areas. InterBay is totally committed to the UK market and I’m looking forward to further building our brand over the coming years.”
Murray had come over to the UK from InterBay in the US to set up and grow the British arm of the lender to the size it is today.
