GMAC-RFC and L&G launch microsite
GMAC-RFC has joined with Legal & General (L&G) to launch a microsite for intermediaries.
The microsite will be created for intermediaries and members of Legal & General’s Mortgage Club, and will give both access to current news, updates, downloads and news on exclusive products. There will also be monthly updates with special features on members from GMAC-RFC and other intermediaries and introducers.

Martyn Smith, product development manager of L&G, said: “It is vital that mortgage intermediaries are made aware of the products and technologies available to them and this microsite brings us all one step closer to achieving this.”
Julie Gaskin, corporate relations manager at GMAC-RFC, said: “We conducted some research on our intermediaries last Winter to find out how we can communicate to intermediaries more effectively. One route we found was that intermediaries felt slightly removed to what was happening with the relationships between lenders and mortgage clubs.”
Paul White, consultant at Belgravia, admitted that it would be a case of ‘wait and see’ as to its impact.
He explained: “Whether it is interesting depends on the content. I’ve no objection to them joining forces, but I will be interested to see what affinity there is between the two companies. L&G’s website is not particularly inspiring, so hopefully this will be more interesting.”
