RBS IP changes rates across range

Royal Bank of Scotland Intermediary Partners (RBS IP) has announced changes across its RBS, First Active and Natwest ranges.

It is to increase rates on a selection of its remortgage fixed rate mortgages with its RBS five year fixed rate increasing to 5.89 per cent. This change is also apparent to the two year First Active fixed rate with a £999 while the rate with a £499 fee increases from 5.85 per cent to 6.05 per cent.

Meanwhile the First Active two year fixed rates will increase from 5.79 per cent to 5.99 per cent for the £999 arrangement fee product, with the £499 fee product increasing from 6.15 per cent to 6.35 per cent. The five year fixed rate will increase from 5.75 per cent to 5.89 per cent. In purchase, the RBS five year fixed rate will increase to 5.69 per cent from 5.89 per cent.

In the Natwest buy-to-let range, the five year fixed rate will increase to 5.99 per cent from 5.50 per cent with a £1,999 arrangement fee while the two year discount (SVR +2.19 per cent) will increase to 5.75 per cent from 5.44 per cent with a £2,500 arrangement fee.
