New A&L head of intermediary sales

Following a review of the senior management structure within its Intermediary Sales and Service division, Alliance & Leicester has appointed Viviane Clement to the new role of head of intermediary sales.
Viviane will take up the role with immediate effect and reports directly to Raj Uppal, director of mortgages. She is responsible for the intermediary sales division, including both field based and telephony teams.
Viviane has spent her entire career at Alliance & Leicester working her way successfully through a number of roles, most recently as Regional Sales Manager for London, South East and East Anglia.
Ray Boulger, senior technical manager at John Charcol commented on the new appointment: "Viviane maintains absolutely the right balance of keeping us informed of pricing and policy changes, efficiently dealing with queries and working closely with our BDM. Her promotion to head of intermediary sales is well deserved and I have no doubt that she is the right person for this important post."
