Abbey cuts rates on fixes
From Monday, Abbey is reducing the rates on its two and three-year fixed rate deals by up to 0.15%.
These are the second set of rate cuts to be made by Abbey in ten days. A two-year fix from Abbey now starts from 6.34% with £999 fee and a three-year fix at 75% loan-to-value from 6.29%.
The lender is also adding a new three-year fix at 70% loan-to-value to the range. This deal has a rate of 5.99% with £1,695 fee and is available for loans of up to £250,000.
