SMS reappointed to Platform panel
Solent Mortgage Services, has been chosen as one of the limited number of packagers on Platform’s new elite panel.
Platform, the intermediary lending arm of Britannia Building Society, had recently concluded a far reaching review of its packager panel and has now cut its panel to fifteen.
SMS, which has successfully integrated award winning online technology into its process, is at the forefront of intermediary support and quality distribution and according to Managing Director Kelvin Cooper, these were key reasons for SMS being included on the new Platform panel.
“We, along with many others, have a long and fruitful relationship with Platform. But in the current climate, with lenders looking carefully at their distribution strategy, past relationships must give way to looking at those firms capable of delivering high quality business in volume and in a manner which keeps processing costs to a minimum. With our versatile and cost effective technology and national intermediary support, SMS has all the credentials any lender could desire. We are delighted to be part of Platform’s future plans.”
