Job cuts following TMB closure

HBOS’ decision to close The Mortgage Business (TMB) will lead to 325 job losses by the end of March 2009.
TMB will be withdrawing all products on Friday 22nd August 2008 at 8pm. To secure a product your client is applying for you need to forward a full application by 8pm on the 22nd, ensuring you submit a full application which must include property details. You also need to confirm that a KFI has been given to the applicant(s).
After the 22nd BM Solutions will take over the mantle as HBOS’ lead brand for the specialist sector. BM already has a strong packager proposition and going forward will offer House 2 House and Self Build products as well.
HBOS’ plans to streamline parts of it’s mortgage business only affects it’s specialist brands; the mainstream brands remain unchanged.
