AVM proves popular with brokers

Mortgage Brain’s AVM service is proving to be a hit with its customers.
Mortgage Brain's integration with UKValuation's market-leading AVM solution is proving extremely popular with thousands of property valuations being processed since the service was launched last month.
Launched from Mortgage Brain's sourcing system, UKValuation's AVM allows intermediaries to access property valuation services for their customers at a touch of a button. By using the service, which is free of charge until at least October 2008, intermediaries can give their customers more informed advice by obtaining better quality valuations at the point of advising on the mortgage.
Mark Witherspoon, CEO of UKValuation, said, "We are very excited about the level of support that this service has generated. We know from the feedback that brokers and networks have given us, that the ability to produce an accurate estimate of value at the outset of the mortgage application process is hugely important – particularly in the context of TCF and anti-fraud compliance measures."
