Alliance & Leicester withdraws two year tracker due to high demand
Alliance & Leicester has announced that it will be withdrawing its Two Year Tracker products from its mortgage range from the close of business on Wednesday 22 October 2008.
The bank has communicated this decision to all Intermediary partners.
Richard Taylor, Head of Mortgage Products at Alliance & Leicester, says: “Over the past few days we have seen a high demand for all of our two year tracker products. We have, therefore, taken the decision to remove the tracker products from the range in the short term in order to manage the volume of business we are receiving at present. An announcement of new tracker products will be made in due course.”
