Cooper to head up marketing and distribution at Just Retirement
Just Retirement has today announced that David Cooper has assumed responsibility for sales and distribution, in addition to his existing responsibilities for marketing.
Cooper joined Just Retirement as Marketing Director in April 2006, bringing with him almost 25 years experience in the UK financial services industry. Prior to this he has held marketing and distribution roles within a number of banks and life assurance companies.
His new role will see him take on overall responsibility for IFA distribution. Supporting Cooper in the IFA market is Paul Glynn, who has been promoted to Associate Director.
Paul has worked in the retirement industry for over 10 years and joined Just Retirement shortly after the company launched in 2004.
Mike Fuller, Chief Executive at Just Retirement comments: "Since joining Just Retirement David has proved to be a valuable asset. His wide industry knowledge and expertise have enabled him to bring value to all aspects of our business and this added responsibility for distribution is a natural extension to his remit.
"Paul will continue to provide continuity for our relationships with IFAs and his promotion to Associate Director is recognition of the value he has added to Just Retirement in the last few years. We are confident that, with this evolution of our senior team, Just Retirement will continue to drive the business forward and ensure that we continue to offer market leading products and services to IFAs and their clients."
Both David Cooper and Paul Glynn will work closely with newly appointed Chief Actuary, Shayne Deighton, whose appointment was announced on Friday.
