An earning opportunity from overseas property

18 November, 2008

Mortgage Next has appointed Viva Costa International to provide a comprehensive overseas property investment package for mortgage brokers and their clients.

The new service will enable intermediaries to help clients buy properties overseas, either for their own use or as investment properties. The service includes support identifying suitable properties, arranging finance and help with contractual issues. Viva Costa International will help brokers market the proposition to their clients and pay commission on all introduced business.

Gemma Harle, Managing Director of Mortgage Next, said: “There is renewed interest in buying abroad at a time when the UK housing market is failing to generate worthwhile returns for many investors. This market offer brokers the opportunity to generate valuable additional income and I’m delighted to be offering a comprehensive solution to Mortgage Next Brokers.”

The number of Britons buying abroad has tripled in the last 10 years and, according to a recent report by Cater Allen Private Bank, 3 million Britons are considering moving overseas in the next 2 years.
