One in four brokers expects intermediary market to shrink by more than half
Our latest Mortgage Introducer poll asked the question: "What percentage do you see the intermediary mortgage market shrinking by over the next two years"
Many hundreds of you gave your opinion and we can reveal that 23% of you thought that the intermediary market would shrink by more than 50% over the next two years.
A further 40% thought that the contraction would be between 20% and 50%.
Meanwhile 6% were optimistic and thought there would be no contraction at all, leaving 31% that thought the contraction would be up to 20%.
