FSA confirms Catholic merger with the Chelsea
The Financial Services Authority (FSA) has announced that it confirmed the proposed transfer of the engagements of the Catholic Building Society to the Chelsea Building Society on 15 December.

The document sets out the reasons for the FSA's decision. Two written representations were received by the FSA. No notices of intention to make oral representations were received. Copies of the decision will be sent to each society and to those who made representations.
