Goldsmith Williams wins legal technology award
Goldsmith Williams, the direct conveyancing firm, has won the 2009 ‘Technology Implementation of the Year Award’ in a ceremony held at the Royal Lancaster Hotel on 29th January.
Maria Rodman, Head of Administration at Goldsmith Williams, collected the award from TV celebrity Hugh Dennis, following a day of ‘Dragons Den’ style presentations.
The award, which is judged by an independent panel of industry experts, was given for the successful implementation of an office automation project which has enabled the law firm to automate the processing of nearly 500,000 pages of mail every year and make improvements to productivity, cost control and environmental performance.
Maria Rodman, Head of Administration at Goldsmith Williams, said: “I was delighted to collect the award on behalf of Goldsmith Williams. This award recognises the considerable investment we have made in technology, which has enabled us to continuously improve the quality of service provided to our clients.”
Goldsmith Williams has also been ranked as the most innovative law firm in the Top Legal Employers United Kingdom Award 2009 and has won both the Mortgage Strategy and Moneyfacts ‘Best Conveyancer’ awards in 2008.
