Brokers optimistic for the housing market
Our recent Mortgage Introducer Poll asked for broker opinion on the following statement, "Judging by recent data it is likely we have reached the bottom of the housing market and prices are not likely to fall further".
Thank you to the 892 of you who took the time to vote. Fifty per cent of you thought that prices would rise (strongly agree 14% - agree 36%), while 12% were not sure, and 38% thought prices would fall.
This gives a plus 12 rating for our index. We will conduct the same poll every quarter to see how sentiment changes over time.
