Brokers confident about price rises
Brokers strongly believe that house prices will rise in 2010, according to the latest Mortgage Introducer opinion poll.
Over one thousand votes were cast in the poll, which asked "Where are house prices going in 2010?", with 62% of mortgage professionals believing that house prices would finish the year higher than they started.
This contrasts with only 15% who believe that they will fall during 2010.
Meanwhile 19% thought that prices would stay the same and 4% were of the opinion it was too tough to call.
