Dan Saulter appointed CEO of Towergate
Dan Saulter has been appointed chief executive office of Towergate Insurance following Ian Darby’s decision to step down in order to pursue other interests.
Ian has been appointed non-executive chairman of John Charcol.
The appointment will take place from 01 December 2011, subject to regulatory approval.
Commenting on his move, Ian Darby said: “When Towergate Financial joined the Towergate Group in 2009, I was determined to lead the business back in to profitability following a tough period of trading during an uncertain economic climate.
“Having reached this milestone, it was always my intention that I would hand over the reins of the business which is in great shape, with a strong new business pipeline and led by a first class management team.
“I look forward to the business continuing to grow under Dan’s leadership, and I will play my part in this by helping to exploit the opportunities that exist through the John Charcol channel.”
