Ageas Protect makes senior appointments
Ageas Protect has announced two key appointments to its senior management team, supporting the company’s appetite for continued growth.
Scott Reid has joined as head of pricing & reinsurance, and Richard Halley has joined as partnership development manager – two key areas for Ageas in 2012.
Scott Reid has in-depth actuarial and reinsurance experience from his time at Aon Benfield, Scor, Gen Re, and Scottish Widows and it’s this extensive knowledge which has led him to co-author a number of papers and articles, including looking at the critical illness drivers of trends in mortality and morbidity.
Richard Halley has held the role of commercial manager for partnerships and was responsible for acquiring new and developing partnerships with some of the largest brands in the UK. Boasting over 20 years experience in sales and sales management roles with PMI insurers, Richard will work with Mark Anders, Ageas Protect’s head of sales, to support the overall sales strategy.
