TMB to assist stricken packagers
TMB has announced it will come to the aid of packagers affected by Victoria Mortgages’ closure.
The firm has set up a special hotline - 0845 124 1320 - and will give priority to affected packagers. This comes after TMB became the first UK lender to announce a series of moves to support packagers affected by Infinity Mortgages' temporary withdrawal from the market.
Nigel Payne, TMB's managing director, said: "As a balance sheet lender, with a very good track record for service, we are in a good position to help packagers affected by today's news. We are genuinely sorry to see Victoria Mortgages in this predicament. Nobody likes to see jobs and livelihoods under threat. Victoria Mortgages has an open invite to get in contact with TMB so that we can work closely together to reduce the impact on packagers."
