L&G joins Lloyds' insurance panel
Lloyds TSB has appointed Legal and General (L&G) to its panel of household insurers.
L&G can now offer buildings and contents cover for Lloyds TSB Insurance customers over the phone and Internet.
Jane Dale, managing director for Legal & General's general insurance business, said: “We are delighted to be appointed to the Lloyds TSB Insurance panel. We believe this reflects the excellent understanding we have of the key elements that consumers look for in choosing their household insurance provider.
"Independent research we conducted earlier this year highlighted that the key requirements advisers look for in a general insurance provider are a strong product offering, good claims service experience and speedy underwriting. We have been able to demonstrate that we are able to deliver in all these key areas, which means we have a very compelling proposition for Lloyds TSB Insurance and their customers.”
Phil Loney, managing director of Lloyds TSB Insurance, added: “We are pleased to welcome Legal & General onto our existing panel to sit alongside a number of other big insurance brands. The implementation has been very successful and the dedicated support team they have put in place means we’re already seeing a very positive reaction to their inclusion on our panel. We are looking forward to developing a very successful relationship.”
