RAMP strengthens team

The Regulatory Alliance of Mortgage Packagers (RAMP) has expanded its Compliance team.
Joining from Resolution (formerly Royal Sun Alliance), Andy Setchell will take up the new role of compliance associate. He will be based in the North of England and will work with Nick Battersby, RAMP’s compliance director and Claire Wilkinson, in supporting the rapid development of RAMP Compliance Services and provision of various support services to the RAMP membership.
Setchell said: “The experience I have gained in over twenty years working within a regulated environment has equipped me well for the challenge of working within the mortgage industry.
“RAMP has impressed me with its forward thinking attitude to compliance and its willingness to work towards a compliance driven sales and marketing stance. It is very refreshing. “
Nick Battersby, compliance director at RAMP, added: “Andy’s arrival provides us with an invaluable extra resource which will enable us to further enhance the compliance standards and services that we have built for our members. His experience of a mature compliance regime within the industry will be immensely valuable to us and the new services we are developing.”
