Strike out
The postal strike this week has once again highlighted the need for lenders to improve their online offering.
Two forty eight hour strikes and my business and I am sure many others cannot get offers to solicitors, surveys cannot get to lenders, applications cannot get to providers if they are paper-based, and the list goes on. I know some providers are already emailing offers to all parties concerned in the process, however the bulk of lenders still seem to want to send out a paper based offer or do not have the facility yet to issue online offers.
I would appeal to all lenders to get offers issued online ASAP, besides saving on postage, the whole purchase/remortgage process can move a lot quicker in certain cases.
