Coventry expands equity release team
Coventry Building Society has appointed Mike Philps as equity release manager.
Philps was previously employed as business manager for equity release specialist adviser, Hinton & Wild (Home Plans) Ltd and acted as SHIP director on behalf its owner, the Ecclesiastical Insurance Office.
Colin Franklin, head of sales at the Coventry said: “I am delighted Mike has joined us as we prepare for our launch into the equity release market early next year. Coventry Building Society is fully committed to equity release and we are confident his expertise will help us build a significant presence in this sector”.
Philps added: “I am extremely pleased to have joined one of the UK’s leading mortgage lenders and fourth largest building society. I am looking forward to contributing towards the successful launch of the Coventry Building Society into the equity release market next year.”
