HBOS picks up seven industry awards

The HBOS group picked up seven awards at the Hamptons Awards last week.
The group's intermediary mortgage brands collectively won five awards, while two individuals were recognised for their efforts.
BM Solutions picked up Best Overall Lender and Best Specialist Lender, while Halifax collected Best Mainstream Lender. Bank of Scotland achieved Best Large Loans Lender and Intelligence Finance picked up the award for Best Flexible Lender.
Tej Matharu, from the Halifax premier unit, received the award for Best Underwriter and Mat Beecham, from Intelligence Finance, was recognised as Best Business Development Manager.
Nigel Stockton, managing director, HBOS Intermediaries, said: "This is a fantastic success for HBOS. Picking up half of all of the awards on offer at such a prestigious event is no mean feat. To have two of our colleagues individually recognised as well is outstanding."
