first direct cuts fixed rates by up to 0.51%

first direct has cut fixed rate mortgages by up to 0.51% – with 2-year fixes starting from 1.24% with a £1,450 fee.

Other 2-year fixes stand at 1.29% to 75% loan-to-value and 1.48% to 80% LTV with a £1,450 fee, although the lender is also offering fee free rates at 1.74% to 60% LTV, 1.89% to 75% LTV and 1.95% to 80% LTV.

The lender’s 5-year fixes stand at 1.99% to 60% LTV, 2.09% to 75% LTV and 2.29% to 80% LTV with a £1,450 fee, while fee free rates stand at 2.08% to 60% LTV, 2.18% to 75% LTV and 2.38% to 80% LTV.

Time to embrace tech

first direct’s offset 2-year mortgages stand at 1.44% to 60% LTV and 1.49% to 75% LTV with a £1,450 fee, or 1.99% to 60% LTV and 2.09% to 75% with no fee.
