Gary Little has joined Blacks Connect as sales director as the conveyancer ramps up its market proposition to brokers.
Little is well known in the broker community having held senior roles at Lloyds Banking Group, Assurant Intermediary, The Society of Mortgage Professionals and latterly TMA mortgage club.
Two other appointments have also been made.
Simone Gilks, the founder of mortgage broker Beauwater, becomes BDM for the South and Tracy Richmond-Bailey, a former BDM for both EBA Associates and Paragon Skills, has been appointed BDM for the North.
David Gilman, head of Blacks Connect, said: “Gary, Simone and Tracy really are a dream team for us given their unparallelled knowledge of the broker market and their keen understanding of what intermediaries need.
“All three have worked in the sector for many years and bring with them a wealth of knowledge and experience which will be of huge benefit to our brokers.
“At Blacks we’ve spent the last year enhancing our technology systems and refining our proposition. With this sales team we now have everything we need to take our business to the next level and ensure we are brokers’ number one choice.”
Gary Little (pictured), whose most recent role was commercial director for TMA Mortgage Club, added: “I am hugely excited to be joining Blacks in this role. I believe there is huge potential to take the Blacks Connect proposition to a wider audience and I look forward to working with the existing team at Blacks Connect to help them achieve their business objectives.”
Simone Gilks said: “Running my own successful mortgage brokerage I worked closely with Blacks for many years. I was drawn to the firm because of its ability to deal with the most complex and diverse commercial cases.
“The mortgage market is changing. Brokers are recognising the growth and indeed the benefit of specialist products and, as I know from experience, they’re going to need a conveyancer with that specialist knowledge to help them deliver the very best service. Blacks is that conveyancer.”
Tracy Richmond-Bailey added: “Every member of the sales team has extensive experience of working with IFAs and we’ve all developed fantastic relationships with the broker and network community over the years. We understand the market and this will undoubtedly help us to satisfy their conveyancing needs.”
