Greene & co. estate agent is holding a range of events across London intended to spur on property sales in the capital.
The estate agent, owned by Countrywide, will hold events in Kentish Town, Clerkenwell, Kensal Rise, Maida Vale, Crouch End, Belsize Park and West Hampstead on Saturday 24 September.
Stephen Matthews, group sales director of Greene & Co., said: “Our Open House event brings more people and property together and encourages our customers to make their homes available for viewings over the course of the weekend. It’s also a fantastic opportunity for buyers to do multiple viewings – particularly if they are looking to move further afield and want to compare and contrast as many properties as possible in one go.
“Some people may have delayed a decision to buy or sell a property after the Brexit vote, however with the recent reduction in interest rates and the introduction of some of the cheapest mortgage deals ever, now is a great time to move before the end of the year.”
The Open House event is supported by a nationwide campaign.
Last year’s events included 11,500 properties, resulting in more than 2,700 sales.
