Hampshire Trust Bank has appointed new underwriters to its commercial mortgages team.

Jude Miranda was previously a lending manager at Shawbrook Bank, Kris Siva worked as a mortgage adviser at TSB Bank, and Robert Mynott joins from the role of credit manager at Metro bank.

Colin Bell, managing director of commercial mortgages at Hampshire Trust Bank, said: “Jude, Kris and Robert are welcome additions to the commercial mortgage team. As a former mortgage broker myself, I recognise how important speed and efficiency are in this sector and having a dedicated team of underwriters will enable us to further develop and enhance our service to the intermediary sector.

“We have been extremely well received by the market and are delighted to say that we are ahead of plan for completions and are building a strong pipeline of deals. We believe that our focus on service and delivery sets us apart from the crowd and are excited about the future growth of the team.”

Hampshire Trust Bank, which launched into the commercial mortgages sector earlier this year, provides structured specialist lending for SMEs, trading businesses and investors, offers bridging and term finance secured against buy-to-let, semi-commercial and commercial property.
