Cardif Pinnacle PPI chosen by Nationwide
Nationwide Building Society has appointed Cardif Pinnacle to supply Payment Protection Insurance (PPI). The new three year contract will start from January 2011.
Andy McQueen, Nationwide's director of mortgages and general Insurance, said: "We considered a number of PPI providers before selecting Cardif Pinnacle as our partner of choice. We have selected Cardif Pinnacle because of its commitment to the PPI market and for its well-established reputation, as well as our shared corporate values and goals. Nationwide and Cardif Pinnacle are among the biggest players in their respective fields, so I'm confident that, through a strong partnership approach, we will be able to work together closely for the benefit of the society's members."
Paul Glen, Cardif Pinnacle's chief executive officer, said: "We are delighted to have been chosen to partner Nationwide Building Society in this changing market. We believe that Nationwide's decision is a great endorsement of the flexibility of the services we can provide. Our commitment is to ensure that Nationwide can provide its members with market leading product solutions both now and in the future. We are looking forward to working closely with the Society."
