Goff has 20 years’ experience in financial services, having previously been in sales management at Santander.
Before that he was regional sales manager and regional sales director at Halifax and the Bank of Scotland.
Kevin Tunnicliffe, managing director of SortRefer, said: “SortRefer’s business has expanded rapidly.
“Our sales team has also grown and therefore we are delighted to welcome Phil Goff to the SortRefer team. He has a track record as a strong manager.
