Aldermore ups lending by 24% in 2016

Aldermore increased mortgage lending by 24% in 2016.

The specialist bank lent £5.7bn, with the help of £2bn in new mortgage lending.

Buy-to-let lending rose by 38% to £3.3bn in 2016, while Aldermore also increased residential lending by 7% to £1.5bn and SME commercial mortgages by 12% to £930m.
