AMPD joins TCF Lender Forum

The TCF Lender Forum was set up in 2005, has 16 lender members and is supported by the Council of Mortgage Lenders. The Forum recently agreed to offer Associate Membership to key intermediary organisations.

AMPD's decision to join demonstrates their commitment to the FSA’s principle of TCF and their willingness to promote http://www.tcfinfo.co.uk/ to its members.

Liza Campion, director at AMPD, said “The TCF Lender Forum enhances what AMPD constantly strives towards and compliments the strict code of conduct and early warning policing measures that we already implemented. It is these measures that have been instrumental in AMPD’s survival as ‘The Packager Association’ through this difficult trading period and continues to demonstrate AMPD and its member’s credibility and worth for the future.

“The members of AMPD will now benefit by receiving regular updates regarding TCF regulatory principles and the AMPD website will also contain a direct link to http://www.tcfinfo.co.uk/. In turn this will allow AMPD members to constantly update their various broker distributions with vital TCF information therefore allowing them to give added TCF value.”

Frank Eve, chairman of the TCF Forum said: “We are delighted to welcome AMPD as an Associate member of the Forum. It is important that the intermediaries who use the services of AMPD members have access and information on TCF and our website provides this.”
