Bank of Ireland UK has launched an online broker service allowing intermediaries to go from application to offer online.

Previously they had to wait for paper copies, but now they can log onto the system and download a PDF version of the offer letter.

As well as the online offer hard copies will also be sent to the client and their solicitor.

Reactions to the interest rate rise

Alison Pallett, programme director of Bank of Ireland, said: “At Bank of Ireland UK, we’re continuously working in partnership with our brokers to get their feedback and make their lives easier.

“That’s why our application system has won Awards for innovation, user experience and ease of use. Online offers are just one of the ways we’re looking to streamline the process.

“We believe that the ability for brokers to make offers online will give them peace of mind knowing that the details are correct before the offer reaches their client.

“This latest online feature is just one of several updates being made to Bank of Ireland UK’s online systems and services, saving brokers time and making it easier to do business together in the future.”
