Bank of Ireland UK to widen NI mortgage distribution

Sean Sheehan, Bank of Ireland’s regional manager, Northern Ireland, said: “Bank of Ireland has a long history of providing mortgages in Northern Ireland and we’re delighted to extend our offering to intermediaries via Legal & General Mortgage Club and appointed representatives of First Complete.”

Jeremy Duncombe, director of Legal & General Mortgage Club, added: “This announcement is great news for our members in Northern Ireland, bringing more choice for intermediaries and their clients.”

And Toni Smith, operations director, First Complete, said: “Bank of Ireland is a well-established mortgage lender in Northern Ireland and we’re delighted to be able to offer their mortgages through our network.”

Bank of Ireland UK will offer a range of first time buyer, mover, remortgage and buy-to-let products via a full online application system that offers decision in minutes, AIP to full application and case tracking though its ‘virtual office’ online tool.

The product range will be available from Monday, June 16.
