Mortgage software company BEP Systems has added sharia-compliant Gatehouse Bank to its financiers using its customisable Apprivo2 system.

Gatehouse Bank will use the residential finance system to help make their business more efficient at a time of growth and handle the needs of customers not always served by mainstream lenders.

Charles Haresnape, chief executive officer of Gatehouse Bank, said: “I am delighted with our new partner and the outstanding functionality the system delivers. BEP has worked fast to bespoke a system for us which will be available later this month.

“It was vital that any finance origination software house we used fully understood our shariah requirements and BEP Systems delivered excellent solutions across home purchase plans and buy-to-let financing.

“This will allow us to build the business and have streamlined processes to provide financing to our customers efficiently.”

BEP has re-configured its systems to comply with shariah requirements for Gatehouse Bank, when dealing with home purchase plans to help customers purchase homes and for landlords to acquire buy-to-let property.

Chris Little, managing director of BEP Systems, said: “I’m delighted to be working with the new specialist clients who will be using Apprivo2 to give them a competitive edge in the dynamic market they operate in.

“Gatehouse Bank have seen the advantages of using Apprivo2 and strategic advantages will be delivered to fit their business model.

“The Apprivo2 system also provides them with the ability to configure certain parts of the process themselves, for example when new application forms are needed and to handle new product launches which require a different set of data to be captured.”
