Bland exits SPF Private Clients

South African born Bland started at the then company in 1999 and has played an integral part in its growth – generating at least £3m revenue in deals throughout his tenure.

Bland’s been a player in the top end of the mortgage market for nearly 15 years and his departure will not go unnoticed.

Bland said: “I love this market, I love the industry and I love England.

“However my home country is calling and it’s time to go home. I’ve had such a great time in the UK and owe it a lot. I’ve made and will keep many friends – it’s been a blast but my time here is up.

Mark Harris, director SPF Private Clients, said: “This is a new chapter in Tom’s life and we wish him all the best.”

Alan Cleary, managing director of Precise Mortgages, added: “He may be Bland by name but bland is certainly something that Tom isn’t. We wish him all the best as he starts this new chapter in his life. “
