Capita extends partnership with Virgin Money

Capita has signed a new five-year contract with Virgin Money to deliver OmigaDigital, Capita’s mortgage origination software.

This extends the businesses' existing relationship, delivering a digitally enabled, simplified omnichannel experience with integrated broker and customer portals.

OmigaDigital is a mortgage origination, sales and processing system that allows providers to manage the end-to-end mortgage process, from initial customer contact through to the boarding of applications onto the mortgage servicing platform.

The platform allows parties to keep updated on the progress of an application at any time, as well as navigating returning customer journeys, and handling complex contract variations.

Capita has committed to funding £3m of additional investment in the platform.

Aimie Chapple, customer management executive officer at Capita, said: “I am delighted that we are extending our partnership of over twenty years with Virgin Money.

"Through this contract, we will leverage our financial services and digital expertise to deliver our leading mortgage origination system and improve the journey for Virgin Money’s colleagues and customers.”

Hugh Chater, chief commercial officer at Virgin Money, said: “We think the Capita platform, alongside their additional committed investment, will allow us to offer a brilliant experience to our customers, intermediary partners and our mortgage colleagues.

"The teams have been working hard together and we’re looking forward to bringing our new customer and intermediary propositions to market and then evolving them over the next five years through our partnership with Capita.”
