Keith Aldridge, managing director of Capital Bridging, said: “We are delighted to welcome Martin to the business.
“With his broad experience within the financial services sector I am sure he will quickly become a valued member of the team.
“Over the past 12 months we have ramped up our expansion plans within the short-term funding arena and to ensure success we have paid particular attention to our recruitment needs in terms of bringing on bright people with experience and the right attitude.
Capital’s other recruits include case manager Ronda Humphrey and financial controller Sandrine Loyeung.
Lane said: “I am delighted to be joining a forward thinking organisation at a time when our specialist market is beginning to realise its potential.
“Constraints on traditional funders and the commitment that Capital Bridging has made to educating brokers about the benefits of short-term funding means the time is perfect to be joining a team with ambitious growth plans for 2015.”
