The CII has appointed three new engagement board member roles this year.

According to the CII, the engagement board members will work collaboratively at board level to influence and drive the strategic direction of the CII.

Each appointment represents a different sector of the CII’s membership.

Debbie Mitchell, director of Atholl Scott Financial Services, has been appointed to represent the financial planning sector.

Pauline Azzopardi, financial services consultant, will represent the voice of international members.

Artur Niemczewski, former chief executive at Pro Global Holdings, will represent the London Market and Global Speciality sector.

A fourth engagement board member will also be appointed in 2021.

The CII board is responsible for leading and developing the strategic direction of the CII as a professional body and promoting the CII’s aim to secure and justify the confidence of the public.

Sian Fisher, chief executive of the CII, said: “We are delighted to welcome our new engagement board members who will play a key role in ensuring the member voice is heard at board level.

“Their knowledge and experience will be of great value to the CII.”
