Highlights of the range include a 2-year fix at 2.49% and a 5-year fix at 3.19% both up to 70% loan to value. An offset option is available up to 60% for two years at 2.79%.

Andrew Pearce, retail director for Clydesdale and Yorkshire Banks, said: “At Clydesdale and Yorkshire Banks we remain focused on offering a range of competitive products that meet the differing needs of our customers.

“Our fee-free mortgage offer is designed to help reduce some of the up-front costs of moving or switching your mortgage.”

The Banks are waiving arrangement fees for customers looking to buy a new home, refinance their existing mortgage with the banks or switch their mortgage to Clydesdale or Yorkshire Bank.

The offers represent a saving of up to £999 on the arrangement fee.

And customers who are refinancing an existing mortgage do not have to pay any legal fees if they use Clydesdale and Yorkshire Banks’ appointed solicitors and those switching from another lender will also benefit from a free standard valuation.
