The events will allow brokers to meet lender representatives from a range of its lender panel, including GMAC-RFC, Kensington Mortgages, Preferred and Rooftop Mortgages, among others.

Underwriting staff from Complete will also be at the event.

As part of the event, lender representatives will give roundtable presentations to brokers, with the brokers moving on every 15 minutes until they have met with all the different lenders.

Tristan Pile, head of sales and marketing at Complete, said the event was designed to give brokers the opportunity to discuss lender developments and keep up to speed with market changes. He said: “The pace of lender product development is very fast, and we believe it is vital for brokers to understand how various lenders can supply the right solution for their customers. We will also be discussing solutions for lead generation and how we can help brokers with their bankrupt clients. The Complete Mortgage Event not only brings lenders and intermediaries together, it also provides an opportunity for members of the industry to meet the experienced underwriters they would normally only talk to over the phone. As our industry continues to grow and technology moves on, I still believe it is much easier to do business with someone you have met face-to-face.”

He added brokers would have the chance to share in £150,000 worth of free application fees: “The £150,000 giveaway will provide brokers that attend the event with valuable benefits that they can use to market to their customer base.”

Peter O’Donovan, mortgage manager at Bestinvest, said: “Events like this are good for picking up information and it is good to update your knowledge, or for new people in the market.”
