Countrywide hires Scott Burman from Lloyds

Countrywide has appointed Scott Burman as corporate relationship director from Lloyds Banking Group.

Over a 14-year career in financial services Burman has been intermediary mortgage business development manager at Scottish Widows Bank and national account manager at Lloyds.

At Lloyds Burman managed the retail relationship with some of the largest house builders in the UK.

He said: “I am delighted to be joining Countrywide at the start of a very exciting journey with the Building our future strategy laid out.

“I'm looking forward to working with the teams at Countrywide to provide new and existing clients with market leading and innovative business opportunities, whist delivering excellent customer care."

Countrywide is the UK’s largest property services group, providing estate agency, lettings, mortgage services, land and new homes, auctions, surveying, conveyancing, corporate property management services and commercial property.

Paul Hunt, operations director of Countrywide Corporate Business, said: “Scott will join Sally Young as one of two corporate relationship directors within our corporate business team.
