Countrywide Surveying Services attains ISO27001 recertification

Countrywide Surveying Services (CSS) has been re-certified as ISO27001 compliant for a further three years following an extensive five-day audit.

The International Organization for Standardisation (ISO) is a global body that collects and manages various standards for different disciplines.

The ISO 27001 standard is designed to function as a framework for an organisation’s information security management system (ISMS).

This includes all policies and processes relevant to how data is controlled and used. ISO 27001 does not mandate specific tools, solutions, or methods, but instead functions as a compliance checklist.

CSS were the first in the industry to acquire this accreditation over 10 years ago and has held it ever since.

Matthew Cumber, managing director of Countrywide Surveying Services, said: “The maturity of our ISMS is testament to the time and effort invested by our colleagues and supporting Group functions for over a decade now.

“To ensure we remain fully compliant, and our high standards are constantly being met, we are committed to annual surveillance audits which are carried out by a third party.

"These offer valuable insight when it comes to constantly improving our service and compliance standards and provide valuable peace of mind for our partners that we are a secure and efficient organisation to do business with.”
