Stephen Young, Sesame Bankhall Group’s chief operating officer will assume day to day responsibility for the business, and commented: “I would like to thank David for the contribution he has made during his time with the company, and I look forward to working even more closely with Bankhall’s management team to expand the range of valuable services that we deliver to our members.

“By combining the best of the services developed by Sesame and Bankhall, we have created a new support service for directly regulated firms which has the depth and breadth of services needed to ensure that firms can thrive in this challenging economic climate. At its heart is a regulatory support package delivered by dedicated staff with many years of regulatory experience. This, combined with a complete range of RDR support services makes the new Bankhall service the natural choice of professional IFA firms.”

Stephen Young has over 30 years’ experience within financial services and was appointed chief operating officer in October 2009 following the formation of Sesame Bankhall Group. Stephen joined Sesame in January 2002 in the role of managing director of its directly regulated support services business Sesame Direct. He was subsequently appointed sales and marketing director for Sesame Group.
