Malle resigned as sales and marketing director at Personal Touch FS in July after a series of high profile exits from the network in early summer. Crawford left the network where he was chief executive in February this year.

Malle has over 22 years experience in the financial services sector and myhomemove said the appointment was a “significant step as part of an ambitious growth strategy”.

Crawford, CEO at myhomemove, said: “Our growth plans are clear and to have secured an individual of Dev’s calibre is a very positive move for myhomemove. Dev had a number of options available to him and his decision to join is an endorsement of our market position, ambition and strategy.

“Dev has a strong track record of delivery and will bring drive, market knowledge, relationships and skills that will enable us to move our Sales activity to the next level and strengthen the great management team we have in place.”

Crawford added that myhomemove has built on an “innovative personal service model” and hopes to emerge from the housing recession stronger than ever and with “a clear opportunity for explosive growth in what is still a very traditional market”.
