Dudley picks its seven distributors
The seven distributors are All Types of Mortgages; Brightstar Financial; Complete FS; Manor Mortgages; Platinum Options; RHL and Solent Mortgage Services.
Gordon Rae, intermediary relationship manager for Dudley, said: “When I joined in July I was excited by the plans to build the society’s mortgage business through close relationships with the intermediary market.
“The partners we have chosen all share common attributes. They all have tremendous experience in the mortgage field and helping the intermediary.”
Rae said the society will be launching products as its new personnel and administrations systems bed in.
Sam Foxall, head of distribution at the Dudley, added: “This is an exciting time for the Dudley. We have taken a conscious decision to work exclusively with the intermediary sector.
“Working through partners like these who are not only proactive in marketing our service but also completely tuned into the needs of advisers and their clients we are looking forward to developing relationships which will prove to be beneficial to all concerned and particularly the customers of our introducers.”
Tony Salentino, director, Complete FS, said: “Brokers have been looking for alternatives to the ‘one size fits all’ underwriting of major lenders and we are pleased to welcome Dudley Building Society to the intermediary sector. It is good to see a lender understanding the importance not only of the broker market but also the value of the packager role in product distribution and delivering good quality cases.”
Rob Jupp, CEO at Brightstar Financial, added: “We have been impressed with Dudley’s attitude to the broking sector and their willingness to listen to our experience of the introducer channel. We look forward to a long and beneficial relationship, as we know they have plans to develop products particularly well suited to the needs of clients and their advisers.”
And Ian Balfour, CEO at Solent Mortgage Services, said: “We are delighted to be one of the partners chosen by Dudley Building Society. I know that brokers will find their products useful and their service refreshing and we look forward to acting as a first port of call for the wider intermediary market looking to access the Dudley.”
