Healthcare and protection insurance specialist, The Exeter, has made it into the UK’s Best Workplaces ranking published by Great Place to Work.
The Exeter came 63rd in the ‘Best Workplaces – Medium Category’ (50-499 employees) and is the only insurance company to feature in the list.
Andy Chapman, chief executive of The Exeter, said: “At The Exeter, we really pride ourselves on our positive company culture.
“A strong culture that prioritises high levels of employee engagement and reflects a company’s overall strategy can have a tremendous impact on a business.
“That’s why we focus on making the culture here as inclusive and as dynamic as possible. Ultimately, this means we are able to discover potential issues and find solutions quickly and efficiently.
“I am deeply thankful to our employees who have helped us secure this recognition. We have always been highly committed to the training and development of our staff and we will continue to recruit highly skilled individuals who want to join us on our exciting next phase of growth.”
Globally, the UK’s Best Workplaces is the largest survey of workplace cultures and people practices. The methodology that creates the rankings is one of the most rigorous and highly regarded in the industry and has long been regarded as the ‘gold standard’ of employer awards.
This recognition, the first for the company, follows the recent accreditation under the ‘Investors in People’ Standard, a title which The Exeter has been awarded for 18 consecutive years.
